The product I’m going to review is Mazaal AI – Automate workflows with AI agents, which I found on AppSumo: Mazaal AI on AppSumo.

Mazaal is unique in treating AI as part of the team, reducing repetitive tasks and leaving room for strategic decisions. The design focuses on the user experience: less code and a clearer description of what you want the agent to do. For freelancers, agencies, or consultants (like me using AppSumo), the value lies in selling automation packages, lowering costs, and demonstrating to clients how AI improves the speed and consistency of their processes.

🏳️Not yet feasible

In highly regulated environments (finance, healthcare, etc.), it may still be impractical to leave critical decisions solely in the hands of agents, due to risks related to accuracy, compliance, or interpretation.

🟡 How

In “How,” Mazaal requires you to train the agents with your processes, rules, and real-world cases before deploying them in production. You can upload documents, links, and text, but that involves designing briefs well, documenting workflows, and conducting quality testing; it’s not 100% plug-and-play. For client projects, this adds a fine-tuning phase, even though the basic framework is already in place.

🔵 Now

Mazaal AI is indeed usable “right now” if you already work with automation (Zapier, Make, etc.). On AppSumo, they offer lifetime access to an AI-powered workflow platform that integrates with over 240 apps such as Shopify, HubSpot, WooCommerce, NetSuite, Salesforce, Slack, or Teams. For my role as a marketing consultant and freelancer, this is very practical: I can create quick workflows for clients (leads, onboarding, follow-up) without starting from scratch. The feature to “describe the workflow and let the AI configure it” also greatly shortens the initial setup.

🔴 Wow

The “Wow” factor lies in the fact that agents behave almost like team members: they learn, evolve, and integrate into complex workflows, even with human approvals at critical steps. The combination of AI, workflow automation, and human oversight is highly appealing for scaling operations without compromising governance.
